Photos were taken mostly on the eastern side of Berlin

• Most photos were taken on the way to the East Side Gallery memorial in Berlin which is where the remains of the Berlin Wall are

• Some photos were taken in the Mitte borough in central Berlin

• Berlin is one of the best places to see urban decay and walking through the city is an incredible experience

• To take an East side walk to the Berlin Wall ruins, you will want to get off at the Berlin Ostkreuz station and walk towards the East Side Gallery memorial (30 min walk)

  • Berlin Ostkreuz station has an evil-looking tower (it’s just a water tower and not actually evil)

  • Google your walking route but take the route down Markgrafendamm street to see lots of graffiti
